In the summer of 2022, I was so chuffed to be asked by the director of Bargain Hunt to feature on a special papercutting segment on the famous antiques hunting show. It is often just filmed down the road, so a perfect location for me to get to! What a fab day it was - I got to meet Natasha Raskin Sharp, who is as lovely in real life as she seems on the tv. I really got to get behind the scenes and get to meet Gyles Brandreth too, another total star and trooper. I prepped the “Newark and the Fruit” piece ready for her to try her hand at it and in the filming she cut a line in the cream area. It was such a fun day…. and I really got to learn all about continuity and repeat filming! Do have a watch if you can. It is often repeated and you can find out more HERE.
